Position Description

We are seeking a creative and multi-talented individual with a background in marketing and communications, preferably from the higher education or secondary education industry. This individual will be the key driver of executing Rosedale Academy’s marketing and communications plan in print, digital, and social media marketing platforms. 

Key Accountabilities

You will work under the direction of the Manager, Strategic Projects and Senior Manager, Global Education Partnerships, with 3rd party vendors on marketing initiatives, branding and marketing collateral production. 

•    Effectively builds and manages Rosedale Academy's corporate brand presence through systematic social media campaigns, development of media/press releases, and communication to existing and prospective partners
•    Support Rosedale Business Development on different client-focused marketing initiatives to drive the growth of Rosedale education partners:
•    Manage Rosedale Academy websites, actively optimizing and improving web content to create a dynamic user experience for prospective partners, students, and stakeholders.
•    Support business development team to generate and customize marketing toolkits for Rosedale clients to support their advertising and student recruitment efforts 
•    Maintain relations with clients and ensure the marketing customer support and compliance with Rosedale advertising guidelines
•    Develops marketing communications content and materials, ensuring that all tactical solutions align with Rosedale’s marketing and communications plans; tailored to meet the needs of specific B2B and B2C audiences;

Qualifications and Requirements 

•    3 – 5 years of experience in marketing and communications
•    Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related fields from an accredited university or college
•    Solid experiences in content creation, branding, website content development, new media, creative production, communications, and public relation 
•    Sophisticated in maintaining social media feeds, as well as ensuring an online presence is maintained on any new platforms to support lead generation and brand awareness
•    Solid experience in coordinating projects with 3rd party vendors to develop marketing and communications materials
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Strong organization and project management skills
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, highly demanding environment
•    Ability to effectively convey key messages and accurately provide essential information to a variety of stakeholders
•    Experience and knowledge in the education sector would be an asset
•    Experience in event planning and publication design would be an asset
